There are certainly days that are hard to find motivation. You find it hard to eat that spinach instead of chips. Or finding time to exercise seems extra difficult, though, you have plenty of time to watch tv. Even finding the motivation to do the hard things in life can cause us to stop in our tracks.
Getting our healthiest requires some serious decision-making and more importantly, putting action behind those decisions. It’s when we take action that leads us to productivity, which leads us to results.
You can’t expect to trim your waistline without moving your body and expending energy to burn fat. You can’t expect your body to get enough vitamins and minerals when you don’t feed it foods rich in those essentials to healthy body function. When you choose not to apply the essential oils for a great night’s rest, your good intentions won’t do much for you. Healthy vegetables don’t just jump on your kids’ plates. And unless YOU offer them, they won’t be exposed to them.
Have you watched Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution? One episode I saw astounded me. The children he spoke to in a classroom couldn’t tell him what a tomato, potato, etc., was based on him holding them up for the kids to view! That’s crazy and shows just how much our society has gotten away from real, whole foods, the very things that our bodies need and crave to support our body systems.
Have you ever purchased a fitness program but never unwrapped it, let alone stuck it in your DVD player? No matter how hard you wish, think about, or hope, it doesn’t benefit you by sitting in the box on your shelf. It takes the act of pressing play to even have the opportunity to get anything beneficial from it.
Life gives us plenty of opportunities to choose the easy way out. But what does that lead to? You don’t have to look far to see that in most cases, the majority is overweight, unhappy, broke, and fed up.
Solutions to your problems and needs are right in front of you. It’s our responsibility to take action on them. You just need to press play!
One way I’ve been pressing play recently is doing some exercises for my muscle separation that I got when pregnant with the twins. However, I have found out that most people who have a lower abdominal “pooch” has muscle separation. It can even be caused by gaining too much weight, so guys can get it, too.
I have done some research on how to repair the separation, and in most cases, doctors tell you it’s only corrected through surgery. However, I have found some exercises I’ve been doing for almost a month that are WORKING! I’m losing inches and people are noticing without me even telling them!! And you won’t believe how fast and easy they are to do!
I thought maybe you could benefit by some of the information I share in this video (sorry you can’t see my face in some portions… I was limited on space). To make a difference in your life, just press play!
