The Raw Food Recipe Everyone is Asking For

I created this recipe from a need for more almonds in my diet to increase my acetylcholine in my brain and to have a yummy new raw foods recipe for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

That’s one thing I love about raw foods…

You tend to not feel like lunch must be eaten at lunch or dinner at dinner. I’ve even eaten salad for breakfast.

Living a raw foods lifestyle, you eat plenty of colorful, fresh foods, including nuts, seeds, and fruits, making sure most meals include lots of veggies.

This recipe is one of my new favorites for any time of day. It would even make a tasty dessert for a dinner party.

Another bonus to this recipe is that you are ingesting virus-fighting, memory-improving, and depression-eliminating ingredients!!

Here are the items you will need for this Fruit with Lemon Almond Crumble recipe:

~ 2 handfuls of raw almonds

~ 1 banana, sliced

~ 1/2 – 3/4 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries

~ 1 tsp vanilla extract

~ 1 pinch of cinnamon

~ agave nectar (about 1 tbsp)

~ 1-2 drops of lemon essential oil

Drop almonds and salt into a food processor (or buy almond meal already ground from Trader Joe’s) and grind until they are a fairly fine powder.

LemonEssentialOil1 The Raw Food Recipe Everyone is Asking ForMeanwhile, slice fruit and put it into a small bowl. Top with vanilla and cinnamon. Stir to coat fruit.

Once the almonds are ground, add agave nectar slowly while the processor is on medium speed. You will have enough when the almond meal starts to stick to itself and become more like crumbles.

Add 1 drop of lemon essential oil while it’s still spinning the crumble.

Turn off and top immediately on the fruit.

Makes 1 serving (as a meal).

DELICIOUS!!

Variation: Use 1 organic apple cut into chunks as your fruit if you don’t like bananas or blueberries. Keep all other ingredients the same.
